How can I (permanently) change the font size of my screen?

I got a new computer with Mozilla Firefox, I can click on ';View'; at the top of the screen and choose zoom in or out but each time I go to a new web page it goes back to very large fonts which I hate to scroll using arrows to see everything on the screen - very annoying, ready to take the computer back. How can I make the font small permanently so I don't have to adjust it each time I refresh or go to a new page???????????????????????????How can I (permanently) change the font size of my screen?

Go to: Edit -%26gt; Preferences -%26gt; Content -%26gt; Fonts %26amp; Colors -%26gt; Size

and adjust it there.
