How do you change the font size of your computer's font?

My computer's font is HUGE and so is the cursor. I wiped the comput er and before I did the font was perfect. I can't figure out how to get it to smaller size. Can any one help me?How do you change the font size of your computer's font?

Hello, on your tool bar is the word view, click on it and a window will open scroll down to where is says text size and click on your choice from largest to smallest. This will give you your choice of font size. Good luck.
Try this, right click on your desktop and open properties. Inside display properties got to the apperance tab. There is a box called font size make sure it is set at normal. Also got to accessibility in control panel and check settings in there.

If that doesn't work, you can always just increase screen resolution.
I think you have set a smaller resolution to your computer screen. Adjusting the screen resolution back to a higher level will solve your problem. To do this,

Right Click in the desktop,

Select Properties,

Click Settings TAB,

Under that Increase the Screen Area %26amp; click OK..

Then, you are done!!

If you are in Internet Explorer, go to Tools -%26gt; Internet Options -%26gt; Advanced -%26gt; then press ';Reset';. That should put everything back to normal.

Font is not of the options you can change with Adsense. You can change the color of the text, borders, URL, background and title -- but not the font.

To do so would violate the Adsense Program Policies as it can be constituted as tampering with the code. This can be grounds for termination with the program, so I suggest you stick with the font and make the colors blend with your site instead.

OLD computer, newer printer, how do you change font size so all info fits on page?

I have a really old computer at my job, REALLY old, I can't even tell what OS is on it... it's for the inspection dept. Head of inspection needs to occasionally print out inspection reports... had a way older printer, but I found a better one for him (because he actually couldn't buy any more toner for it, they don't manufacture it any more, haha). Hooked it up, it works fine except for inspection pages missing a column of numbers; he also said the old printer printed smaller text. SO, my question is, where the hell do I start? lol. This seems more like a plea for moral support. I guess what I'm asking is, is there any known way of altering text size via printer settings outside of the computer itself? Most likely, you need to change the resolution of the display. Just right click on the desktop and go to properties. Go to the settings tab and move the slider to the right to increase the resolution.

there's a couple things that can be wrong.

First off, try holding down the ';control'; button while moving the scroll on your mouse. If this doesn't do anything, or if you don't have a scroller on your mouse then try this: first it all depends on if you have a MAC or PC.

If you have a PC... right click and select ';properties';. Next, select the tab labeled ';appearance';. Go down to the pull-down box where it says ';font size';. Click on this and select ';normal';

However, if you have a MAC... click on system preferences. Under the section labeled ';hardware'; click displays. Then select whatever fits your computer screen. You may need to try out a few before you see the one that looks the most normal.

Sorry that you have to change it every time you send an email. Unfortunately that is all you can do since it is unlike Outlook and Outlook express where you can find the font you can see well and save it for the emails you send out. Plus you can try on your browser to select view, then chose large so you can at least see everything on the web. I have bad vision so this is what I learned to do hope I helped you out.

If you're using a Mac, and have SAFARI, it's Safari/Preferences/Appearance and then choose your font and size. Many more choices than ';Larger, Large, Small, Smaller';.

In Microsoft Word or Word Processer, how do you change what font size and indents you start with?

Whenever i open Word Processor, it always starts with size 10 font and irregular indents and margins. I was wondering if there is a way to change this so i don't have to change it every single time i open the program.In Microsoft Word or Word Processer, how do you change what font size and indents you start with?
To change the font size

Click on Format - Font

Under the Font tab click on the size you want

Click on Default

A pop-up message will appear:

Do you want to change the default to (whatever your choice was)?

This change will affect all new documents based on the NORMAL template.

Click YES, then click OK

To change the margins:

Click on File - Page Set-Up

Under the Margins tab choose the margins you want. Usual sizes are:

Top and Bottom 2.54cm (1 inch)

Left and Right 3.17cm (1,25 inches)

Gutter 0

Header and Footer 1.25cm (.49 inches)

Click on Default when finished, you will get the same message as for the font.

You need to go to Personalize: right button of mouse on an empty part of desktop, down to Personalize. In the leftside pane you will see Adjust font size. For Internet Explorer (also known as IE) the fonts can be changed on three levels.

Level 1 - From the IE menu you can make small adjustments to your text size which will affect each website the same way. To do this, click 'View' on the IE menu then select 'Text Size' and select what looks best. The exception is rich content on certain sites will override the setting.

Level 2 - Another adjustment is only available with IE version 7 and that is called 'Page Zoom' and is active on the bottom right corner as a percentage. Click it to change it.

Well, I have looked all over for this answer and ALL of them have been wrong, or at least with the NEW Yahoo! email GUI. There IS a way to set the default font, color, size, and type face, and here is how you do it:

1. Start a new message

2. Click in the text box field

3. Click the drop down box for type face, size or the color pallette

4. Hold the Ctrl key and select your type face, size or color

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for B, I or U. And there you have it. I have tested it and it works great.

The Message window toolbar has selections for all.

The Icon for Font Face is the ';F茠'; to the right of abc鈭?for spell check.

Click on it to select a font face from the drop down menu.

You will need to select it each time you send an Email though. There is no option to set it as default.

after you've typed your post, you click the button on the toolbar (above where you put all your text) that says ';html'; in small blue letters... then a window will pop up with the plain text version of your post

the text that you want to make larger, you put %26lt;big%26gt; in front of it, and then %26lt;/big%26gt; after it... the slash big is what signals the html to stop enlarging the text, so make sure you put that after the last word you want to make larger!

also, depending upon how large you want the text to be, you can add more %26lt;big%26gt; 's. but up to three is the limit, people find it obnoxious if its any bigger than that =p but you have to put as many %26lt;/big%26gt; 's at the end as you put before, for example:

The font tags are outdated, but noobies making their pages don't care because they still work. But if you use them, use them correctly. The heading tags are block level tags. The font tags are inline. They go INSIDE the block level tags.

The easiest for you is to just do a little inline CSS styling:

In Firefox, go to the Tools Menu. Click ';Options.'; In the Content sections, there is a Font %26amp; Color area at the bottom.

It's very easy dear. Simply move 2m closer to your screen and the font will appear much bigger.
